For our outdoor October wedding, we invite guests to dress in "Semi-Formal with a Hint of Nature." This means elegant yet comfortable attire suitable for an outdoor setting, taking into account the beauty of autumn. We suggest layers or accessories inspired by nature to complement the season. Your outfit should be suitable for celebrating under the open sky, keeping in mind the weather may be cool. We look forward to sharing our special day with you in style!

What is the significance of the handfasting ceremony?

The handfasting ceremony is a highlight of our wedding, symbolizing our unity as we begin our life together. This ancient Celtic tradition involves tying our hands together with cords. For us, each color chosen by our family represents different values: red for passion and strength, orange for joy, yellow for optimism, green for growth, blue for tranquility, purple for wisdom, and pink for affection. This beautiful ritual not only embodies our personal commitment but also our family's blessings for our future. It's our way of making the phrase "tying the knot" a literal and heartfelt part of our celebration.

Are there any events planned for before or after the wedding?

Our wedding day begins with a rehearsal for the bridal party and specific vendors from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a lunch. We look forward to a day filled with love and seamless celebrations, concluding at 8:30 PM with no events following.
